The central concept revolves around the random placement of U-shaped balconies on the facade, resulting in a dynamic sense of movement within the building. Burj Al-Arab has always been the expressionist interpretation of the traditional Dhow sail. The Sail Tower pushes this interpretation into the digital era through organic bone-like structures, towering into a tent-like sail at its crown.
