BARCELONA
Street view of Barcelona, as seen from Sheikh Zayed Road
Envisioned along the prime Sheikh Zayed Road, Barcelona rises as a stack of glass cuboids shifting into iconicity with its neorustic facade. Along Sheikh Zayed, the building contour morphs between a cuboidal and a vertical line towering over the highway.

Morphology
The facade represents a minimal translation of tree canopies transfigured into rust, physicalized via translucent glazing of different opacities. The pattern infests the apartment interiors through their light transmittance, adding identity to the interiors.
The shifting occurs on either side - Dubai view and Palm Jumeirah, adding a third dimension to the line. The boxes are lit up by an array of horizontal lines, illuminating the apartment terraces.
