A private ecological beachfront retreat for family and friends ANATOMA '“ the Sunset Pavilions “ are located within banana granges on the Mediterranean shore, 15 minutes’ drive south of Beirut. The masterplan is composed of 12 pavilions (6x2bedrooms, 6x1bedrooms) distributed around pools and outdoor entertainment areas, complimented by a Restaurant, a spa, and a small Marina.

Distributed as two clusters of 6 units each, the layout is connected by a global pergola infested with ivy, vines and creeper flora, under which a range of playful spaces are created that can be increasingly private or public. Simultaneously, used for shading, place making, and an ecosystem catalyst, the floating pergola and its vegetation are core elements of the project.
