Roland Bosbach


Roland Bosbach (Dipl Ing Arch TU) is the Design Director of Built by Associative Data and the Director of the Dublin office.


Born in Germany, he studied Architecture at the Technical University Dresden and has worked for renowned architectural firms in Germany, the Netherlands (West8), Switzerland (Koeppel+Martinez), Ireland and China (Studio Shanghai).

He has extensive experience in the fields of Urban Design, Housing and Commercial Projects, Sustainable Design and Landscape Design as well as in architectural research and teaching. His work in a number of European and Asian countries as well as in the Middle East and Africa has given him invaluable insights into the specific cultural and environmental parameters for all design applications and project delivery.


Before joining Built by Associative Data, Roland Bosbach was the Lead Designer and Project Architect of the international competition winning scheme for the new low energy, BREEAM “excellent” rated, Networks Services Centre for Bord Gaìs Networks in Finglas, Dublin, Ireland.


He is responsible for the Masterplan and Sustainability Framework of the new Beirut Digital District and is currently working on the first phase of its implementation with the BDD Hub, a mixed use development aiming for a LEED Gold certification and the BDD Plug In, a temporary conference and sports facility.


Roland has also tutored at the Schools of Architecture at DIT and UCD, Dublin, Ireland.
